Mumbai Man Wins Apple Night Mode Photo Challenge By Capturing A Red Tree

Participants had to use the night mode feature on the iPhone11 series to capture images. And this Indian man was among the six winners.

Apple will show winning images of the iPhone night mode photo challenge in a gallery on its website and Instagram and on billboards. The challenge attracted many people around the world to take part in. Photographers had to use the night mode feature on the iPhone11, iPhone Pro or iPhone Pro Max to capture images.

Judges of the challenge have worked so hard to select six winners and one of them is an Indian, Mitsun Soni from Mumbai. He took a photo of a tree standing amid buildings with a lot of gradients of red.

Tyler Mitchell, one of the judges, said that that the rich red color in the photo was so impressive that it really blew his mind. He couldn’t figure out where on the tree did that deep light came from, it felt like a UFO was above it and other things in the photo were beautiful too.

Another judge, Arem Duplessis, also expressed his feelings about this winning photo. “An otherworldly quality” is what he said about the rich red color of the tree and the ground when paring with the night sky above in the image.
