The Galaxy S20 Plus from Samsung is a nearly-perfect smartphone with 5G and better cameras than ever. It is a powerhouse having the best features of its siblings with a perfect balance. Compared to the Samsung Galaxy S20, it has a bigger display as well as more battery life. However, it isn’t as large and expensive as the Galaxy S20 Ultra. When it was launched, Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus price in India started at Rs 73,999. However, with the launch of the S21, the price has been discounted. Check out our Samsung S20 Plus review to find out more about the device.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus Launch Date

Samsung launched the Galaxy S20 Plus on February 11th, 2020.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus Price
Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus price in India starts at Rs 54,999 on Flipkart.com for the variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Meanwhile, for the variant with 8GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage, consumers will have to pay Rs 78,999.
The smartphone comes in four different colors: Cosmic Gray, Cosmic Black, Aura Blue, and Cloud Blue.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus Design
Compared to its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy S20 plus does not look much different. The rectangular block on the device’s back isn’t the worst. It is less obtrusive and more refined than the square bump on the rear of the Pixel 4.

The punch-hole on the front housing the selfie camera looks cleaner while obstructing less of the display. Samsung has decided to go with a minimalist design with no rear fingerprint sensor, no 3.5mm headphone jack, and no Bixby button.
The Galaxy S20 Plus is even thinner than the standard S20. But when you increase the volume of the dual top-and-bottom speakers, the whole back cover of the phone will vibrate.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus Display
The smartphone comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a WQHD+ resolution of 3200 x 1440. It is a bit taller than the QHD+ screen of the S10 Plus. It is probably because the phone has less bezel at both the bottom and the top.

The display of the S20 Plus has a refresh rate of 120Hz. Although it is faster than the 90Hz refresh rate of the Razer Phone 2, OnePlus 7T pro, or Google Pixel 4, you won’t likely see any difference if you don’t place those phones side by side.
Technically, a faster refresh rate means smoother action in games supporting 120Hz. You will appreciate the silky-smooth animations while navigating through the Android interface.
Samsung S20 Plus Camera
The smartphone comes with three cameras and a time-of-flight depth sensor. The main and ultra-wide cameras haven’t changed much from the lenses on the S10 Plus. However, the telephoto lens has been amped up.

While the S10 Plus has a 12MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom and 10x digital zoom, the S20 Plus packs a 64MP sensor with 3x optical zoom and 30x digital zoom.
The smartphone can record 8K videos at 24fps. You can also record UHD in 60fps, FHD, and regular HD.
On the front, the Samsung S20 Plus sports a single 10MP camera. Of course, it isn’t the S20 Ultra’s 40MP front-facing camera, but it gets the job done.
5G
The smartphone connects to mmWave as well as sub-6 5G networks. But because we are still in the early days of 5G, don’t expect much.
Samsung S20 Plus Specs & Performance
The S-series phones of Samsung have always had top-tier specs. And with Samsung S20 Plus specs, it is no exception. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset or Exynos 990 with 12GB of RAM for the 5G variant. The 4G versions have 8GB of RAM, which is more than enough for everyday tasks.

In the Geekbench 5 test, the smartphone managed to score 3,034 with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 and 2774 with the Exynos 990.
The S20 Plus can handle everything you throw at it. Out of the box, it comes with Android 10. Of course, since it is a Samsung phone, it still has brand apps as well as interface overlay.
Samsung S20 Plus Battery Life
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus has a 4,500mAh battery. It can last a whole day with typical use including taking photos, scrolling through Twitter, playing a few games, and binging videos.

While it isn’t especially remarkable, you can save the battery life by lowering the display resolution or decrease the refresh rate to 60Hz.
In the box, you have a standard 25W USB-C charger. The smartphone also supports Fast Wireless Charging 2.0. With Samsung’s Wireless PowerShare, you can share the charge of the S20 Plus with other devices including the Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus.
That is all the information that we have got regarding the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus price in India, release date, and specs. We hope that it can help you decide whether to spend your money on the device or not.
