HMD Global officially launched the Nokia 8 in the Indian market. This is the first high-end Android-powered smartphone branded Nokia and the Nokia 8 price in India is Rs. 19,999. The Nokia 8 launch date in India is October 14 2017.
Here are our first impressions about the Nokia flagship. Check our Nokia 8 review to find out.
The box of the phone is very similar to previous Nokia devices with the image of two pairs of hands holding each other, reminiscent of the slogan "Connecting People"
The back of the box contains some information about the hardware configuration and features of the device
Accessories include a fast charger, a USB-C cable and a headset
The device owns a 5.3-inch screen, IPS technology, 2K resolution

Despite using an LCD panel, the Nokia 8 still has Always-on Display feature.
Going against the trend of ultra-thin screen bezels of many high-end smartphones, Nokia 8 still owns a fairly thick screen bezel at all sides.
It also uses three capacitive buttons, in which the Home button is mounted with a fingerprint sensor. This continues to be an option that goes against Nokia's trend, as many other Android manufacturers have implemented navigation buttons into the screen.
The back of the Nokia 8 is made of solid metal. The company said it took up to 20 hours to process the rear panel of this device.
The back clearly states that this device was designed by HMD Global.
The Nokia 8 is 7.3mm thin
The right side of the device includes the power button and volume rocker. The top edge of the device includes a 3.5mm jack.
The bottom of the device is made of plastic, including a USB-C port, microphone, and a speaker grille.
The Nokia 8 has one of the thickest plastic antenna bands available today. Some users will probably not like this because it is not synchronized with the rest and create a non-premium feeling.
Do you think that the Nokia 8 price is competitive?
A standout feature on the Nokia 8 is the camera cluster using Carl Zeiss-branded lens. It consists of two 13MP sensors, one color and one monochrome.

This camera cluster is slightly protruding from the back
The monochrome sensor enhances the quality of regular photos and supports black and white photography.
Bothie is a feature on the Nokia 8, allowing users to take photos, record videos and livestream simultaneously both front and back cameras in the same frame.
Moving to the Nokia 8 specs, the handset is equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835, aided by 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Nokia equips the device with a copper-tube cooling system, which helps to reduce the temperature and maintain its performance in the long run.
As mentioned, the Nokia 8 price in India is Rs. 19,999. The Nokia 8 colors are Polished Blue, Tempered Blue, Steel, and Polished Copper.

Nokia 8 Durability
In the past, legendary Nokia models have received countless acclaim, even being hailed to the for their "almost indestructible" durability. But the new Nokia smartphone brand has been revived by HMD global, can the Nokia phones still be as durable as before?? With the Nokia 6, the answer is yes.
But what about the new Nokia 8 flagship from the Finnish phone company? Are you also wondering how durable it is? So let's find out Zack on his YouTube channel, JerryRigEverything, to find the answer. And as usual, this bald brother will put this beautiful smartphone through some torture tests.
If you're too lazy or don't have time to watch the entire video, we'll recap the content for you. The front glass is Gorilla Glass 5, so its scratch resistance is quite good when only slightly affected by the 6th Mohs endurance test, and began to leave deep scratches at level 7. The LCD panel of the phone reacts as usual when burned, which is blackened immediately upon exposure, but recovers after 10 seconds.
The back of the device is made of aluminum, which means that a single razor is enough to scratch it. The entire camera system (including the LED flash) is covered by glass, so it will be more durable than plastic.
Next is the most important part of the test video, and the result is: Nokia 8 is not easily warped at all. Neither the back nor the front of the device was bent after the guy tried to bend it with all his might. Explaining this, Zack said that the Nokia uses 6000 series aluminum material - which Apple has used on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s. The structure of the aluminum inside the phone also plays a key role in preventing it from being bent. Therefore, it can be said that Nokia's durability has been "inherited" from its old predecessors.
With this durability, do you believe that the Nokia 8 price in India is good to buy?
