TENNA has spotted a new Vivo smartphone with V1831T and V1831A variants. The specifications suggest that the variants probably are the Vivo V15 in China. The speculations have raised as the Chinese market does not have any handset like the Vivo V15 which has been recently released in Thailand.
As Vivo has not introduced the V lineup smartphones in the Chinese market, and the V11i was launched in 2018 as the Z3i in China, it appears that the variants may get unveiled as the Vivo Z5 in this country.
According to the listing of TENAA, the device with codename V1831A/T will sport a 6.53-inch Full HD+ display (1,080 x 2,340) without a notch. Both the handset will come with the MTK Helio P60 chipset which can be clocked up to 2.1 GHz like the V15. Additionally, the device is expected to run on the Android 9 Pie.
The phone will have two options: 4GB RAM/128GB internal storage and 6GB RAM/256GB internal storage, which is expandable through microSD slot.
Two variants will be equipped with three rear cameras at the top left including a 12-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 5-megapixel sensor. According to the photos on TENNA, the device will have super-slim bezels. It appears that the phone will feature a pop-up front-facing camera with 24.8MP resolution.
Regarding the connectivity, the phone probably has VoLTE, WiFi and other connectivity options which are similar to the V15 launched in Thailand and Malaysia. Powering the upcoming smartphone is a battery with a capacity of 3,860mAh.
Furthermore, the handset will have a size of 161.97 x 75.93 x 8.54mm and a weight of 189.5g. Also, it will feature a fingerprint sensor placed on the rear panel, which is different from the on-screen fingerprint sensor in the V15.
