A few years ago, the smartphone industry was hit by the selfie frenzy. Every smartphone manufacturer started making selfie-focused models. And among them, the F series of Oppo and the V series of Vivo have made it through the test of time. Both companies continue to refresh the series and work on new models. The Vivo V11 Pro was launched in 2018, an update to the Vivo V9 launched before it six months. At the time of its launch, the Vivo V11 Pro was the first V series phone to have an in-display fingerprint scanner, first debuted on the X21. In many ways, the V11 feels like the X21’s selfie-centric version. Besides the fingerprint scanner, it also sports many similar specifications as its sibling. Vivo V11 Pro price in India when it was first launched was Rs 25,990.
Vivo V11 Pro Price In India
Af three years, the Vivo V11 Pro price in India 2021 is Rs 22,654.
Vivo V11 Pro Design
Since the launches of the V9 and the V11 Pro weren’t that much apart in terms of time, it isn’t a surprise that both models pretty much look identical. The V11 Pro has all the buttons, ports, SIM tray, the rear camera module placed in the same placements. With its all-plastic body, the phone is extremely light. It can easily be used with one hand. The thickness is the same as that of the V9, at 7.9mm. However, the V11 is slightly taller. When putting it in your pocket, it might feel a bit bulky. Its glossy back attracts smudges easily as well.

The larger body of the V11 Pro means a bigger display (6.41-inches). According to Vivo, the display of the smartphone is called a “Halo FullView” display because of the slim borders on all sides as well as a super tiny notch. The sensors have been placed into the bezel's edge to the right of the camera. The earpiece is placed right above it, which is a clever move. The V11 Pro is pre-installed with a screen protector but Vivo also uses Gorilla Glass 3 for protection.
The display is a Super AMOLED panel with Full-HD+ resolution, offering deep blacks and vivid colors.

When the sensor detects motions, a fingerprint logo glows up, so you know where you need to place your finger. Unfortunately, the process isn’t very quick. It needs one to two seconds before the phone is unlocked. In contrast, the phone’s face recognition works swiftly, even under low-light conditions. When you close your eyes, it doesn’t work, making it a bit more secure. You can use both fingerprint and face authentication for safety.
There are a few color options including Starry Night and Dazzling Gold. When you purchase the phone, you get a Micro-USB cable, a fast-charging power adapter, a headset, a SIM eject tool, and a silicone case.
Vivo V11 Pro Specs
The Vivo V11 Pro sports the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chip with 6GB of RAM. Compared to the X21, most of the benchmark scores of this phone stood a bit lower. The phone comes with 64GB of internal storage, but it can be expanded to 256GB. You have dual-band WiFi 802.11ac, USB-OTG, Bluetooth 5, FM Radio, GPS, but no NFC, unfortunately. In terms of sensors, you have a virtual gyroscope, an ambient light sensor, a compass, and a proximity sensor.

The phone doesn’t have a notification LED. But the always-on display kind of makes up for it, showing you the date, time, battery level, and incoming notifications. But the notifications are passive, meaning they are not interactable like on Samsung devices. Also, when you play music with the always-on display activated, you don’t have any controls.
Vivo V11 Pro Performance
The interface of the phone is snappy and it can easily handle multitasking. The display offers a good touch response. However, under direct sunlight, it does look washed out. In terms of games, the phone doesn’t have the best chip. By default, games like Asphalt 9: Legends and PUBS run at low to medium settings. In PUBG, if you increase the graphics, you will encounter stutter in gameplay.

Vivo V11 Pro Cameras
On the back of the phone is its main 12MP camera with an aperture of f/1.8. Dual pixel autofocus is supported but not optical stabilization. Similar to the X21, the V11 Pro takes little time to lock focus. Even when you shift the focus of the phone, it will lock focus almost instantaneously. In low light, this slows down a bit but not by much. The phone’s Auto HDR does well in balancing the bright and dark areas.

Vivo V11 Pro is capable of recording 4K, 1080p, and 720p, videos. The second 5MP sensor is for gauging depth, primarily used in bokeh mode.
On the front, there is a 25MP selfie camera. The photos look well exposed and sharp.
Vivo V11 Pro Battery
It has a bigger battery than the X21. A single round of PUBG drains 11% off the battery. The phone has the Dual Engine fast charging tech of Vivo. It takes only 30 minutes to pump the battery to 42% and one hour to 80%.
That is all the information that we have got regarding the Vivo V11 Pro price, release date, and specs. We hope that it can help you decide whether to spend your money on the device or not.
