India's Local Brand Lava Introduced World's First Customizable Smartphone

Lava – Indian smartphone brand, has just made its appearance know in the local market with ‘Made in India’ Zup and MyZ series with the latter is made to order, which means users have the choice to customize the phone in any way they want on the company’s online store.

A Lava MyZ features a 6.5-inch IPS HD+ screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a waterdrop notch to house the selfie camera. Under the hood, the phone runs on a MediaTek Helio G35 processor which can be paired with a maximum of 128GB of onboard storage and 6GB of RAM.
Photography-wise, users have the choice to acquire the phone with either a double- or triple-camera setup. The former consists of a 13MP and a 2MP sensor, while the latter sports a 13MP, a 5MP, and a 2MP camera. On the other side, users may choose to have an 8MP or a 16MP selfie snapper.
Other specs include military-grade durability, a USB Type-C port, and a 5000mAh battery.

Lava also debuted with another smartphone series called Zup. Owners of Zup phones will be able to upgrade the ROM or RAM in the first year after purchasing the device by visiting a service center of Lava and paying a small amount of money.
If you are interested in a MyZ smartphone, you will have to wait until January 11. The phone’s price starts at Rs 6,999. On the other hand, Zup phones will be distributed on Amazon.in and some offline stores in India. The Zup series’s price runs from Rs 6,999 to Rs 9,999.
