Lava Z53 is a budget smartphone that is priced at Rs. 4,829 in India. The phone carries a 4,120mAh battery & 6.1-inch water-drop notch display as highlights.

Lava Z53 is a new budget smartphone that has just been introduced in India to take on the likes of Realme and Xiaomi budget smartphones. The brand hasn’t revealed the full specifications of the Lava Z53. For now, we have known that the device comes with a 6.1-inch display with a water-drop notch at the top accommodating a 5MP selfie camera. In addition, it carries an 8MP shooter at the back placed in a rectangle module along with an LED flash. Moreover, there are also a power button and a volume rocker at its right spine and a dedicated Google Assitant button on the left. Finally, it gets a 4,120 mAh battery under the hood to fuel the whole setup.

Its price in India is Rs. 4,829 and it can be purchased via offline stores across the country. Jio users can get an instant discount worth Rs. 1,200 in the form of vouchers as well as additional 50GB of 4G data, which is valid on Rs. 299 and Rs. 199 recharges.
Lava Z53: Specifications
The handset sports a 6.1-inch screen with an aspect ratio of 19:9, but the brand doesn’t reveal which resolution the display support, but it should support HD+ resolution just like most of the budget smartphones out there. It doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor, so the only biometric authentication measure available is the Face ID feature, which is said to unlock the smartphone in less than 0.4 seconds. Fueling the phone is a 4,120 mAh battery, that is expected to give the phone power for the whole day.

In terms of camera, it gets a 5MP camera on the front for taking selfies. At the back, there is an 8MP camera paired with an LED flash in a rectangle module. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, micro-USB port, 4G LTE, and Bluetooth.
