Lava Z71 has just gone official in India as the company’s latest budget offering. The handset arrives with a water-drop notch on top of the display to house a selfie camera and a dedicated Google Assistant button. At the back, the device is also equipped with a dual-camera cluster, including a 13MP main sensor a 2MP secondary sensor. Camera features include LED flash, HDR, panorama, AR Sticker, AI Studio Mode that users can use to take six-level portraits. Other key details include 5MP selfie camera as well as Face Unlock feature and rear-mounted fingerprint reader for biometric security.

The chipset is combined with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, which can be further expanded using a microSD card slot (up to 256GB). On the software side of things, it ships with Android 9 Pie pre-installed alongside the company’s Star OS 5.1.
