Xiaomi Mi MIX Alpha Listed On Xiaomi India's Website; Won't Be Up For Sales

Xiaomi introduced its concept Mi MIX Alpha smartphone in September last year. The handset was a futuristic phone with a wraparound screen. Recently, it was showcased in a closed media interaction in India. And now, the Xiaomi Mi MIX Alpha is spotted by PriceBaba on Xiaomi India’s official website. PriceBaba has also learned that the Chinese brand doesn’t have any plan to release the phone in the country. However, interested users can still take a look at the device in Mi Home stores across the country.
Xiaomi Mi MIX Alpha: Features & Specifications
The Mi MIX Alpha sports a 7.92-inch Flexible OLED panel that supports 2,250 x 2,088p resolution and has an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 180.6 percent. Powering the phone is a Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset along with an Adreno 640 GPU. It is available in a single memory configuration with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of storage. Software-wise, it comes with MIUI 10 pre-installed, which is based on Android 9 Pie. The Mi MIX Alpha measures 154.38 x 72.3 x 10.4 mm and weighs 241g. In terms of connectivity, it supports dual 4G VoLTE, 5G connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Dual-frequency GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, USB-C port, NFC, and Bluetooth v5.0. Under the hood, it gets power from a 4,050 mAh battery that is charged with the 40W fast charging technology.
Moving to the camera department, the handset was the first phone in the world to announce with a 108MP Samsung HMX main sensor with OIS, PDAF, Laser Autofocus, LED flash, and CAF; a 12MP telephoto camera with 2x zoom support, and a 20MP Sony IMX350 sensor with a 117-degree wide-angle lens. Finally, it gets a 20MP camera on the front for video calls and selfies.
