Xiaomi has done a lot to prove that it is an innovative company today. Its Mi Mix series revolutionized the smartphone industry in 2016. Now, the company does even more with Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha The device has a spectacular and unique design that has never seen in the industry.
Here are some photos of the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha so that you can have a closer look at one of the most expensive smartphones at the moment.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha 5G can be considered as a "concept" smartphone because it features several features never seen before. The most striking is the curved screen that surrounds almost the entire body, extending from the front to the rear. There is also a vertical strip housing the camera that runs all over the back, featuring a 108MP camera.
We have seen some phones that have nearly 100% screen-to-body ratio on the front, but Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha even reaches 180.6%. In addition to the vertical strip, the handset also has very thin top and bottom edges, only 2.15mm.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha does not have a middle frame containing the power buttons and any physical volume buttons or other hard keys. Therefore, the phone antenna and the connection module for Wi-Fi or 5G are located inside the vertical strip at the back. This phone has bezels with Haptic technology to mimic physical buttons. In addition, Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha also has screen audio technology and ultrasonic proximity sensor.
Another notable highlight of the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha is its triple camera system at the back. The phone is the first smartphone in the world to have a 108MP camera sensor. Specifically, the phone uses a Samsung ISOCELL Bright HMX 108MP sensor on the back of the phone. This main sensor is extremely large with 1 /1.33-inch sensor.
Paired with the main sensor is a 12MP camera with a telephoto lens that supports 2x optical zoom, while the third one is a 20MP super wide-angle lens with a FOV of 117 degrees. This setting also supports 1.5cm macro photography. Aside from that, Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha also has several other camera features like four-axis OIS stabilization, a flicker sensor, and laser focus. There's no selfie camera, but users can still use the rear cameras to take selfies with the back display.
Sadly, the phone comes with a staggering price of 19,999 CNY (around Rs. 1,99,900), which is even more expensive than the top-end variant of iPhone 11 Pro Max.
