Vivo Y81i With 2GB RAM, Android 8.0 May Be Released On 7 December

Vivo, a Chinese phone brand, has already released a bunch of smartphones in the Indian market this year, but it seems like Vivo doesn’t want to stop yet. If a new report is accurate, the Chinese phone maker will launch a new affordable smartphone, Vivo Y81i, in India this month.

The Vivo Y81i is another affordable phone that is released in the under-Rs.10,000 price range

From the report, Android Updated has said that the new Vivo phone could be released around 7 December. Android Updated, cited from its trusted source, claims that the phone will be priced around Rs. 9,999 and it will be available from Amazon and Flipkart, as well as retail stores of Vivo across India.

In terms of specs, Vivo Y81i is most likely to come with a MediaTek Helio A22 12nm chipset. This MediaTek chipset will be coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage. The Viva phone is expected to come with a 6.2-inch HD+ display and a notch as well. It will likely run Android Orea 8.1 with Funtouch OS of Vivo.

In terms of camera, the Vivo Y81i is expected to feature a single 13MP rear sensor. For video calls and selfies, Vivo offers a 5MP front sensor also. The upcoming Vivo phone is reported to come with all of the standard connectivity options like 3.5 headphone jack, Wi-FI, etc… And it will be powered by a 3,260 mAh battery, with no support for fast charging technology

Interestingly, it seems the Vivo Y81i is not the final phone that Vivo wants to release in the last month of 2018. According to a report, the Chinese brand may even launch its Vivo Y91i in the India market pretty soon.
