Vivo Y17 Specs Leaked; Triple Rear Cameras, 5,000mAh Battery, Helio P35

A new leak just reveals most of the specifications of the upcoming Vivo Y17, including triple rear cameras, 5,000mAh battery and MTK Helio P35 SoC.

The specs of the upcoming Vivo Y17 were just leaked giving us a very good look for what to expect from the handset. What we lack now is the live photos of the phone to know about its design. The leak was live only a few days after an alleged render of this phone surfaced online showing a triple camera at its back. Besides, the new report also revealed that Vivo will offer the Vivo Y17 for around Rs. 16,990 and equip it with fast charging support.

Vivo Y17 Specifications Leak

The leak, in courtesy of SlashLeaks, reveals the Vivo Y17 is likely to pack a 6.35-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 720 x 1,544p resolution and a water-drop notch on top. Powering the phone will be an octa-core MTK Helio P35 processor with 4GB of RAM/128GB of storage. If the leak is accurate, Vivo will only offer a single memory configuration for this handset.

In the camera department, it is confirmed to come with triple rear cameras, including a 13MP main sensor, a secondary 8MP shooter with an ultra-wide lens, and a third 2MP depth sensor. Up front, there will be a 20MP camera for taking selfies and video calling.

As for the camera, the phone will come with a whopping 5,000mAh cell with fast charging support. In terms of software, it will run Vivo’s Funtouch OS 9.0 which is based on the latest Android 9.0 Pie. Its connectivity options include Wi-Fi, FM Radio, VoLTE 4G, Bluetooth, and a headphone jack. From the leaked photo, we can’t see whether it will come with a micro-USB port or a USB Type-C port. However, we believe that the phone should have a micro-USB port.

If the rumored price is accurate, the Vivo Y17 will be among the phones that have a triple camera setup for a very affordable price.
