Vivo has just released its Vivo V15 Pro in India, and now it is all set to announce a non-Pro model of the phone, Vivo V15, but not in the Indian market this time. The Chinese phone maker released the phone in the Thailand market for 10,999 THB (around Rs. 24,400). It comes in a total of two colour variants, including Glamour Red and Topaz Blue. In terms of specifications, there are not many differences between the Vivo V15 and Vivo V15 Pro, except for the fingerprint sensor and the processor.

Similar to the Vivo V15 Pro, the new phone also packs 6GB of RAM as well as a triple camera system on the rear. However, while the Pro model packs a Snapdragon 675 chipset, Vivo goes for an MTK Helio P70 chipset on this new version instead. The company also replaces the on-screen fingerprint scanner for a rear-mounted one. For now, the phone is available in Malaysia and Thailand, but it should come to the Indian market pretty soon.
Vivo V15: Specs & Features
The Vivo V15 sports a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ display with a 2,316 x 1,080p resolution and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Under the hood, it is powered by an MTK Helio P70 chipset coupled with up to 6GB of RAM/up to 128GB of storage which is expandable via a microSD slot. The highlights of this phone are its pop-up selfie camera up front and the triple rear camera setup.

The rear camera setup includes a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP secondary ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP depth sensor, coupled with a dual LED Flash.

On the front, there is a 32MP selfie camera, located in a motorized unit. Similar to the one on the Vivo V15 Pro, the selfie camera of this Vivo phone will be powered by a motorized mechanism which means it will pop-up when users switch to the selfie camera.
Other features include a headphone jack, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, a micro-USB port, and a 3,700 mAh cell.
