Vivo V15 Launched In India: 32MP Pop-Up Selfie Camera, Helio P70 & More

Vivo V15, which is a toned-down version of the Vivo V15 Pro, launched in India with a 32MP pop-up selfie camera, triple rear cameras, and Helio P70 SoC.

After launching the Vivo V15 in the Chinese market earlier in the month, Vivo finally brought it to the Indian market. The Vivo V15 is a watered-down model of the Vivo V15 Pro. The key features of this handset are its pop-up front camera just like the Pro model. Other highlights include a large 6.53-inch FHD+ Full-View panel, Helio P70 chipset, and a large battery. The company will offer the handset via both offline and online channels.

Vivo V15: Price

The Vivo V15 is priced at Rs. 23,990 for the sole variant with 4GB RAM/128GB storage. It will come in three color options which are Glamour Red, Black, and Royal Blue from 1 April. You can now pre-order the handset via Vivo official website, Flipkart, and Amazon.in from 25 March. Launch offers include up to 15 months no-cost EMIs, free-of-charge screen replacement, Rs. 3,000 discount on trading in an old Vivo phone, and up to Rs 10,000 exchange buyback value for those who buy the phone on no-cost EMI with Bajaj FinServ. Jio users can get up to Rs. 10,000 benefit for buying the Vivo V15( up to free 3.3TB data and the Jio Vivo Cricket Offer). You can also get 5 percent cash back on credit/debits card and EMI transactions if you are SBI customers.
Vivo V15: Specs & Features
The handset packs a 6.54-inch Full-HD+ Super AMOLED panel with an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 91.64 percent and Gorilla Glass 5. Under the hood, the phone runs on an MTK Helio P70 SoC with a Mali-G72 GPU, 6GB of RAM/64GB of storage which is expandable via a microSD slot up to 256GB. As for the software, it ships with the latest Android 9 Pie with Vivo’s FunTouch OS 9.0 on top.

In the imaging department, the Vivo V15 features a triple camera system on the rear, including a 12MP f/1.78 main sensor, a secondary 8MP ultra-wide snapper with an f/2.2 aperture, and a third 5MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. Up front, it comes with a pop-up front camera with a Samsung GD1 sensor and an aperture of f/2.0.

Unlike the Vivo V15 Pro, the Vivo V15 only has a physical fingerprint scanner mounted on the rear. Powering the phone is a large 4,000 mAh cell with support for Dual-Engine Fast-charging. Besides that, Vivo also uses a Face ID feature on the phone for extra security measure. Other notable features include a headphone jack, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, dual SIM card slots, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2.
