Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO launched its first flagship series dubbed Vivo iQOO in China last month. With the iQOO brand, Vivo plans to mostly focus on the flagship segment. The first two offerings from the brand are Vivo iQOO and Vivo iQOO Monster, both of which are powerful. The iQOO Monster comes with the most powerful Snapdragon 855 SoC, paired with up to 12TGB RAM, 256GB storage, and triple rear cameras. Previously, you have to get the model with 256GB of storage if you want to have 12GB RAM. Now, the company offers a cheaper option with only 128GB of internal storage.

This new model packs 12GB of RAM/128GB storage for CNY 3,698 (around Rs. 38,300), and it will come in a single Optic Blue color option. Besides this, Vivo already offered the Vivo iQOO in 4 different memory configurations, including 6GB of RAM/128GB of storage, 8GB of RAM/128GB of storage, 8GB of RAM/256GB of storage, and 12GB of RAM/256GB of storage. The top-end model with 12GB of RAM/256GB of storage is currently priced at CNY 4,298 (around Rs. 44,600) which is around Rs. 6,300 higher than that of the new 12GB RAM/128GB storage variant.
Vivo iQOO: Specifications & Features
The Vivo iQOO comes with a 6.41-inch FHD+ display with a water-drop notch on top and a screen-to-body ratio of 91.7 percent. The device is powered by the latest Snapdragon 855 SoC paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. As for software, it ships with Vivo’s FunTouch OS which is based on the latest Android 9 Pie.

In terms of camera, the phone comes with triple rear cameras, including a 13MP primary camera, a 12MP wide-angle shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. Keeping the phone running is a 4,000mAh cell with up to 44W Super Flash charge support which is touted to allow the phone to charge from 0 to 100 in just 45 minutes.

The company is expected to bring the Vivo iQOO to the Indian market sometime in June this year for a price of from Rs. 40,000 - Rs. 60,000.
