Vivo has just added a new phone to its V series under the name Vivo V15 Pro in the Indian market. The Vivo V15 Pro is the first phone to come with the Snapdragon 675 chipset in the world. The phone sports an AMOLED panel and an on-screen fingerprint scanner similar to its predecessor Vivo V11 Pro. However, the phone now comes with a pop-up front camera similar to the one on the Vivo NEX instead of the ‘Halo’ notched display on its predecessor. With that, the handset manages to achieve an impressive 90.7 percent screen-to-body ratio.
Vivo V15 Pro: Specifications & Features
The Vivo V15 Pro features a plastic unibody design, and it sports a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ display with a 2,340p x 1,080 pixels resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The phone also features the fifth-gen under-screen fingerprint scanner, which is claimed to be 25% faster than the previous generation.
As mentioned, it is the first phone to be powered by a Snapdragon 675 SoC, coupled with an Adreno 675 GPU as well as 6GB RAM. The phone packs 128GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD slot.
In terms of camera, the Vivo V15 Pro sports a triple camera setup on the rear, comprising of a 48MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP secondary sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 5MP third sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. The primary sensor is a Samsung GM1 sensor that uses Quad Bayer array for taking better photos. For low-light conditions, it has the Super Night Mode feature that stacks some images with different exposure to improve the clarity of dark photos. The rear camera setup is also backed with some other features, including Ultra HD, Time-Lapse Photography, Bokeh, Camera Filter, AR Stickers, AI Face Beauty, Professional, and even more.
Under the hood, it is powered by a 3,700 mAh battery with “Dual Engine” fast charging that is claimed to charge the phone from 0 to 24 percent in 15 minutes via a USB-C port. Other main specifications include an audio jack and Face Unlock feature, with connectivity options such as dual SIM card slots, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, 4G LTE.
Vivo V15 Pro: Price
Vivo offers the Vivo V15 Pro for Rs. 28,990 for the single variant with 6GB of RAM. It will be up for sale from 6 March via both e-commerce sites such as Amazon India and Flipkart as well as offline retail stores. Interested consumers can pre-order the phone from today. It will come in two color options, Ruby Red and Topaz Blue.
Vivo offers several launch offers for the Vivo V15 Pro, including one-time display replacement for six months, 5% cashback on HDFC Bank Credit cards and EMI, no-cost EMI up to twelve months, and exchange offer as well.
