A few sources previously said that Samsung may skip the Galaxy M41 smartphone to launch the Galaxy M51. However, according to Safety Korea, the Samsung Galaxy M41 has just been certified by 3C and the listing also revealed a few specifications. In particular, the most remarkable feature is the massive battery capacity of this smartphone. Up until now, the biggest battery Samsung has ever packed inside its smartphones is a 6,000mAh unit.
The source revealed that the Galaxy M41 is equipped with a battery of up to 6,800 mAh, which is the highest ever in Samsung’s Galaxy smartphones. However, the handset will reportedly not support fast charging technology. That means it will take quite a long time to fully charge such a large battery.
However, it is also possible that this is the specifications of the Galaxy M51 smartphone, and Samsung indeed skipped the Galaxy M41. Nevertheless, it is not too important as the important thing is that this cheap smartphone will have a monstrous battery capacity.
Samsung wanted to cut product costs, so it used China Star's third-party OLED panel, instead of using its own OLED panel. This is also the first time Samsung has done so for its Galaxy smartphones.
The source also said that the smartphone will be equipped with Snapdragon 730 processor, 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage. 6.5-inch OLED screen, under-screen fingerprint sensor, and 64MP triple rear cameras are also expected on the Galaxy M41.
The Samsung Galaxy M41 is said to make its debut in September at a price of $250 (around Rs. 18,000).
