Vivo Y30 was first announced back in May in Malaysia. The phone has just silently made its way to India. The new mid-range smartphone is listed on Flipkart with a price of Rs. 14,990. You can now purchase the phone on the platform. Its highlights include a 6.47-inch iView display, Helio P35 SoC, and 5,000 mAh battery. Personally, I don't think the Vivo Y30 is a better option than the Redmi Note 9 Pro, Realme Narzo 10, or Realme 6.

Vivo Y30: Price in India & Availability
On Flipkart, the Vivo Y30 price in India is Rs. 14,990 for its single model with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. You can get the phone in either Emerald Black or Dazzle Blue variants. In Malaysia, the Emerald Black version is replaced by the Moonstone White option.
Vivo Y30: Specifications & Features
The Vivo’s mid-range phone rocks a 6.47-inch iView display with the punch-hole style. Surprisingly, the display only supports HD+ resolution while most of the phones in its price range support FHD+ resolution and it is a massive letdown. Its IPS LCD display has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and covers 90.7 percent of the front panel. The phone runs on Android 10-based FunTouchOS 10 to take care of the software side of things.

Powering the Vivo Y30 at the helm is an Helio P35 chipset, which is another letdown to me. Paired with the modest chipset are 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. You can use the Multi Turbo 3.0 feature to enhance the performance of this phone. For gaming, the handset also gets Ultra Game Mode. It is fueled by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports the standard 10W charging solution. I don't know why Vivo still uses the 10W charging technology on a mid-range smartphone in 2020.

On the front, the device is equipped with an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls. Around the back, it gets a quad-camera array, including a 13MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 120-degree viewing angle, a 2MP macro camera with a 4cm focal length, and a 2MP portrait camera. Other features of the phone are 4G VoLTE, dual SIM support, Bluetooth 5.0, a micro-USB port, a headphone jack, and Wi-Fi 802.11 ac.
