Samsung India has been quite active in the mid-range smartphone in the country. The South Korean phone maker has recently replaced the Galaxy J and Galaxy On series with a new Galaxy M series. Mainly targeted the millennials, the Galaxy M series are offered via Samsung eShop and Amazon.in. In this article, we will figure out the differences between Samsung M10 vs M20 vs M30.

The entry-level Galaxy M10 costs Rs. 7,990 for the 2GB of RAM base option, while the top variant with 3GB of RAM is priced at Rs. 8,990. The Galaxy M20’s two options with 3GB of RAM and 4GB of RAM will set you back by Rs. 10,990 and 12,990, respectively. The top-end Galaxy M30 is offered for Rs. 14,990 and Rs. 17,990 for the options with 4GB of RAM and 6GB of RAM, respectively.

Both of the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 have a PLS TFT capacitive panels. The Galaxy M10 sports a 6.22-inch display with an HD+ resolution of 1,520 x 720p and a 19:9 aspect ratio. On top of the display is a dewdrop notch housing a selfie camera and Samsung calls it Infinity-V design. The Galaxy M20 packs a 6.3-inch FHD+ display with a 2,340 x 1,080p resolution. Lastly, the Galaxy M30 features a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 2,280 x 1,080p resolution and a 19:9 aspect ratio.

The most affordable Galaxy M10 packs a Samsung’s Exynos 7870 SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM/16GB of storage, and it is also offered in another variant with 3GB of RAM/32GB of storage. The Galaxy M20 and M30 both run on the Samsung’s Exynos 7904 SoC, but they have different memory configurations. While the M20 has 3GB or 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of storage, the M30 packs 4GB or 6GB of RAM with 64GB or 128GB of storage.

Moving to the imaging front, the Galaxy M10 and M20 come with a dual rear camera setup while the Galaxy M30 is equipped with triple rear cameras. The rear camera setup on the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 include a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP secondary sensor with an ultra-wide angle lens. On the front, while the Galaxy M10 has a 5MP selfie shooter, the Galaxy M20 is equipped with an 8MP selfie camera.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy M30 has an additional camera at the back. Its camera setup comprises of a 13MP main sensor, a 5MP secondary ultra-wide angle camera, and a 5MP sensor for depth sensing. On the front, there is a 16MP camera for taking selfies and video calling.

Powering the Galaxy M10 is a 3,400 mAh cell which is decent for its price tag. It comes with a micro-USB port at the bottom. Meanwhile, the Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M30 are both backed by a massive 5,000 mAh battery with fast charging support via a USB-C port. They all come with standard connectivity options such as dual SIM slots, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth. As for the software, they all run the dated Android 8.1 Oreo with Samsung’s Experience UI on top. However, Samsung promised that the company will soon release the Android 9 Pie update for these three phones in the recent future.
