ROG Phone First Asus Gaming Phone, Will Launch In India On November 29

The gaming brand of Asus - ROG (Republic of Gamers) just revealed the ROG Phone - its smartphone in the gaming market at the Computex in June 2018. This first gaming phone of ROG is claimed to be the first phone in the world to feature a 3D vapor-chamber cooling system ROG claims that the phone can last for 7 hours of playing games with Wi-Fi.
Asus didn’t reveal the price or release date of the Rog Phone at the time of launch, but they said that it would soon come to the Indian market. And after five months, they have just announced that the ROG Phone is coming to India.
Asus will launch the ROG Phone in the Indian market on 29 November and the company will be likely to reveal the details of availability and pricing of its phone on that day as well.
Features of this new gaming phone
The notable features of this new gaming phone are its AMOLED display with 90Hz, 1ms response for smooth, blur-free gaming, ultrasonic AirTrigger sensors and unique design for comfortable gaming with a unique side-mounted port. And the phone will be powered by a 2.96GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 and an Adreno 630 GPU.
This is the attempt of Asus to directly compete with the Razer Phone as well as the Black Sharking gaming phone of Xiaomi which are both not yet available in India.
Along with the mentioned cooling system, Asus also offers a detachable AeroActive Cool if users want extra cooling. Along with two programmable ultrasonic AirTrigger sensors, the phone also includes a powerful force-feedback system and unique side-mounted port.
It also has the optional TwinView Dock if users want dual-screen handheld mode. Besides that, Asus also offers Gamevice controller with WiGig Dock for big-screen gaming and the Mobile Desktop Dock for playing games with desktop style. Other features are Aura Sync support, Asus Aura RGB lighting and ASUS HyperCharge for faster, safer and cooler battery charging.
Specs of ROG Phone
In terms of display, the phone will feature a 6-inch FullHD+ AMOLED display with 90Hz rate as well as 1ms responses time. As mentioned, the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 845 and Andreno 630 GPU along with 8GB of RAM. For the camera aspect, the gaming smartphone has a dual rear camera with 12MP and 8MP sensors. The front camera will be an 8MP sensor.
Asus offers a maximum internal storage of 512GB. The phone will be powered by a 4000 mAh battery which, as Asus claimed, will allow users to have 7 hours of playing games with Wi-Fi. And the charging rate is also impressive with 60 percent of battery with only 33 minutes of charging. The phone will weigh 200 grams with dimensions of 158.8x76.2x8.6mm.
