However, it doesn’t mean that there is nothing that is comparable to these Chinese smartphones. There is, actually. While the Indian-made smartphones can’t compete with Chinese smartphones yet, there are brands from Korea, Europe, and the US. So if you are looking for the best non Chinese smartphone out there, check out our list.
Best non Chinese smartphone
1. Samsung Galaxy M20
Let's start with the first smartphone from non Chinese smartphone brands. If you are considering the Realme Narzo 10A or the Redmi 8A Dual, the Galaxy M20 is a great choice. A product of Samsung, a Korean electronic giant, the smartphone is a little more compact with its FullHD+ 6.3-inch TFT screen. The M20 comes with a 13MP main camera, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and an 8MP selfie camera. With its Exynos 7904, it is nowhere as powerful as the Helio G70. However, you can still get through daily tasks. The Galaxy M20 also has a 5,000mAh battery. Purchasing the Galaxy M20, you will sacrifice powerful performance for a sharper display and more useful cameras.

2. Nokia 8.1
The Nokia 8.1 from HBD Global is a competitor to the Realme 6 Pro and the Redmi Note 9. The smartphone comes with a fullHD+ HDR10-certified 6.18-inch LCD screen. It is powered by the Snapdragon 710 chipset with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. You will have a 12MP main camera with OIS, a 13MP telephoto lens, and a 20MP selfie camera.

3. Samsung Galaxy M31
The Galaxy M31 from Samsung is a good alternative to Chinese smartphones in the mid-range segment. The smartphone has an FHD+ 6.4-inch AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass protection. It comes with the 10nm Exynos 9611 chipset with 6GB of RAM for the base variant and up to 129GB RAM for the more expensive one. The storage is expandable. At the back, it houses a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 5MP macro lens. On the front is a 32MP selfie shooter. The Galaxy M31 has a beefy 6,000mAh battery.

4. Asus 6Z
The Asus 6Z is from a Taiwanese brand best known for its products in the PC market. The smartphone is very much of a flagship offering. It even surpasses some of the offerings from Chinese smartphone brands. The design is also innovated. The Asus 6Z has a rotating camera module with two cameras that works like the front and the rear cameras. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 855 with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It has a 5,000mAh battery.

5. ROG Phone II
With its pressure-sensitive air triggers, the ROG Phone II offers gamers an unfair advantage over other players while gaming. You will have the most granular customizations for the CPU with everything running at peak. It comes with a 6.59-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340. You have a dual-camera set-up at the back with 48MP and 13MP. On the front is a 24MP selfie camera. The smartphone is powered by the 7nm Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset with 6GB of RAM. It has a 6,000mAh battery.

6. Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite
If you are looking at a more popular smartphone line, you should consider the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite and the Samsung S10 Lite. Both have some similar features from the premium Galaxy lineup. The S10 Lite has a 48MP camera while the Note 10 Lite has the S-Pen.

7. Apple iPhone SE 2020
The iPhone SE (2020) is an excellent daily device, even for power users. The smartphone has the design of the old iPhone 8 but the same A14 Bionic chip from the flagship iPhone 11 series. And as expected from an Apple device, you will have the same lag-free experience. However, compared to Chinese counterparts, the battery life might be a bummer though.

8. Apple iPhone 11
With the iPhone 11 series, you will undoubtedly have the smoothest operating system that is completely different from Android. The iPhone 11 has two cameras on the back, a 12MP main wide lens, and a 12MP ultrawide lens. You will also have a night mode for low-light situations. The A13 Bionic chip with a Neural Engine, combined with a six-core GPU, is the most powerful mobile processor. It even surpasses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. The price, however, is on the higher side, compared to other premium flagships from Chinese smartphone brands.

9. Samsung Galaxy S20
For the Android ecosystem, the S20 lineup sets a new benchmark. The S20 series has high refresh rate displays, a more optimized UI, and multiple cameras. Out of the three smartphones in the lineup, the Galaxy S20 is the one with the lowest price. It comes with a QHD+ 120Hz display, a triple camera setup, and wireless charging. Other features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, HDR10+ certification, reverse wireless charging, fast 25W charging, and IP678 dust and water resistance.

10. Samsung Galaxy M51
This is the first smartphone that has a massive 7,000mAh battery. The Galaxy M51 comes with an AMOLED display and a 64MP camera setup.
