Nokia 6.1 and Nokia 6.1 Plus are two of the most popular phones in 2018, according to an analysis conducted by The Mobile Indian.

1Following being taken over by HMD Global, Nokia has resurged in the smartphone market. The company attracted quite a lot of attention in China with the Nokia X series, which had as aggressive prices as Xiaomi. In the final days of 2018, The Mobile Indian carried out an analysis showing that Nokia 6.1 and 6.1 plus are among the most frequently searched phones of 2018.

Nokia 6.1 Plus

2018 has been quite a busy year for Nokia with the introduction of 14 new smartphones into its portfolio. It consists of a wide range of products from low-price phones like Nokia 1 Android Go to high-end devices such as Nokia 8 Sirocco. The analysis carried out based on data from 2 million visitors on the portal proves that Nokia 6.1 and 6.1 Plus are among the most trendy smartphones.

The most prominent features of these two phones are their affordable price and appealing premium appearances. The price of Nokia 6.1 Plus is Rs 15,999. The phone 5.8-inch IPS LCD display screen with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,280 pixels, two Kryo 260 quad-core processors built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset, 16MP front and back cameras, 5MP secondary camera, and a 3060mAh battery. Its screen is also protected by the scratch-proof Corning Gorilla Glass v3. The 4GB is sufficient for the smartphone to run high-end games and multitask.

Its smaller brother, Nokia 6.1 has a 5.5-inch full HD IPS LCD display, the 401 pixels per inch density ensures a great experience while watching videos and playing games. Nokia 6.1 features octa-core, 2.2 GHz, Cortex A53 processor nested upon the  Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset, Its 3GB RAM also provides the ability to run several apps simultaneously and play games smoothly.

On the other hand, Realme and Xiaomi were two newcomers that captured a great deal of attention during the last few months of 2018. These two smartphone providers made the highest sales during India’s Diwali festival.
