The first two variants will be offered in Black while the 8GB RAM / 128GB storage model will come in Black or Red colors. The top-end variant will have two special finishes on its back, including Camo finish or Red-Violet gradient color. As mentioned, the phone is confirmed to make its way to India soon. However, the company didn’t reveal the exact launch date.

Nubia Red Magic 3: Specs & Features

The handset is powered by a Snapdragon 855 SoC paired with 6/8/12GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage. Backing the phone is a massive 5,000mAh cell with 30W fast charging support. The company claims that with just 10 minutes of charging, you can play games with the phone for one hour. Up front, it packs a massive 6.65-inch Full-HD+ Ultra-Widescreen HDR AMOLED panel. As it is a gaming-centric device, its display has a 90Hz refresh rate, 240 Hz touch refresh rate, and dual-front stereo speakers as well. The screen brings visual pleasure with a thick bottom and top bezels and that means it doesn't have any notch or hole-punch on its display.

One of the major highlights of the phone is the liquid cooling mechanism which is said to be inspired by gaming PCs. The Red Magic 3 is also said to be the world’s first phone to come with a cooling system that is equipped with a fan. This particular system is touted by the company to increase the heat transfer capability of the phone by a large margin. And that can also further improve the performance of the phone. According to Nubia, the cooling effects are able to provide up to 500 percent heat distribution as well as covers up to 32,000 sq.mm, which will most likely be enough to keep the device up and running even in the most intensive battles.

As mentioned, ZTE also equips it with some specialized features for better gaming performance. They include Red Magic Game Space 2.0 - a gaming-centric dashboard which enables users to organise and also quick launch games, and more. You can also monitor usage and temperature in real time as well as block all notifications and others during your gaming sessions. The device is also included an action button on its top right side, above the cooling grid, and it can be used as an additional key during gaming. For security, there is a diamond-shaped fingerprint sensor mounted on the rear. As for software, it runs the stock version of the latest Android 9 Pie out of the box.

Lastly, its cameras include a single 48MP IMX 586 sensor with f/1.7 aperture and an 8MP selfie camera on the front. ZTE only goes for a single camera on the Red Magic 3 most likely because gamers don't really want fancy bokeh effects so it's better to cut it down for better gaming performance and features.
