Nubia Red Magic 5G Transparent Edition: Price & Availability
The handset is slated to go on sales on June 14 with a retail price of 5,199 yuan (around Rs. 55,700). Unfortunately, the phone is currently limited to Chinese market. At the moment, the bran hasn’t revealed whether it plans to sell this edition in other markets.
Nubia Red Magic 5G Transparent Edition: Specifications & Features
With a transparent back design, you can easily see the internal components of the phone. However, except for the cooling fan, the components you can see at the back are 3D printed, similar to Xiaomi Mi 8 and Mi 9 Transparent Edition.
The 3D printed circuit board also shows the key specs of the Nubia Red Magic 5G, including Snapdragon 865, up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, Wi-Fi 6, 144Hz display, and dual-mode 5G connectivity.

It gets a 6.65-inch AMOLED panel, supporting Full-HD+ resolution (2340 x 1080 pixels) and does not follow the design trend of punch-hole or water-drop notch. However, the handset still has quite thin bezels at the top and bottom.
In addition, the screen of the device is also integrated with a fingerprint sensor underneath for security and is TUV Rheinland certified with the ability to produce less harmful blue light for the eyes than conventional AMOLED screens.
Inside, Nubia Red Magic 5G owns the hardware power from the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 865 processor and Adreno 650 GPU, combined with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage.
Besides, thanks to the 340Hz touch sampling screen, this phone can completely bring the best gaming experience to users. According to Nubia, the Red Magic 5G's high-frequency scan display is not only limited to gaming but also works with dozens of other apps such as browsers, messaging apps or social media apps ...

Red Magic 5G is equipped with a triple-camera system on the back, including the main 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. Meanwhile, the selfie camera on the front of the device has an 8MP resolution.
Like its predecessor, Nubia's new Red Magic 5G gaming smartphone also comes with two capacitive shoulder triggers located on the right edge, which has a 300Hz sampling rate and can assign multiple functions to make your gaming experience better.
According to Nubia, the heat-sink chamber for the cooling fan on Red Magic 5G is up to 56% larger than the previous generation. In addition, it also has a liquid cooling system with an L-shaped radiator, thermal gel, multi-layer graphite, and high thermal conductivity copper foil.
