HMD Global has introduced its upcoming Nokia X71 smartphone at a launch event in Taiwan. According to recent reports, the company probably launches it as the Nokia 8.1 Plus across the world. However, a previous report revealed that the handset features a dual rear camera setup and a fingerprint sensor on its back, thereby creating confusion. But the new listing spotted on TENNA, and the leak of user manual offer some details about the upcoming phone. Unlike the Nokia X71, the Nokia 8.1 Plus has TA-1188 model number and features an on-screen fingerprint scanner, which means the phone could be a brand-new phone, not a Nokia X71's version.

The smartphone will have a vertically-aligned three rear cameras with ZEISS certification, Nokia branding and LED flash. It sports a hole-punch screen for housing selfie camera.
