Nokia 8.2 Leaked Specifications, Allegedly Arriving At MWC 2020

Nokia 8.2 leaked specifications include a 5G-enabled Snapdragon 700 series SoC, a pop-up selfie camera, and a quad rear camera setup with a 64MP main sensor.

Nokia 8.2 has appeared on a bunch of leaks, revealing its launch timeline, almost specs, and features. This phone is tipped to be a big upgrade over its predecessor – Nokia 8.1 phone. The phone reportedly comes with a circular quad rear camera setup and a pop-up selfie camera. Particularly, the primary sensor will have a 64MP resolution and support pixel binning to reduce the size of the image output. Additionally, the phone also features Night Mode which is more powerful than the Nokia 7.2. Also, the phone will also have 5G connectivity support and better OZO audio. It is expected that the brand will introduce the Nokia 8.1 at Mobile World Congress 2020.

Nokia 8.2 might come with a pop-up selfie camera

As per a Nokia Power User report, the prototype phone is being tested. This handset is positioned as the brand’s value flagship phone with 5G connectivity and will cost around US$500 (roughly Rs. 35,000). Last month, when Qualcomm introduced its 5G-enabled Snapdragon 700-series SoCs which will be available in the market next year, the brand confirmed the plan to unveil a phone powered a chipset in this SD 700 series. This handset could be the Nokia 8.2.

Unfortunately, the information about the phone’s display is not available at present. But we expect that its display will have a Full HD+ resolution. Furthermore, the phone is tipped to have a pop-up selfie camera, so there will be no notch on the display.

Nokia 8.1

Mobile World Congress 2020 is set to take place by late February, so the phone’s release is still a few months away. According to the leaked specifications of the phone, the Nokia 8.2 seems to be quite interesting phone. However, considering how fast the technologies develop in the mobile phone industry, the situation might be different in a few months.
