Nokia 5.4 Officially Teased On Flipkart, Could Launch In India On February 10

It appears that the Nokia 5.4 India launch is just around the corner. According to a new report, the handset will make its debut in the country on February 10th. While the news has yet been confirmed, the phone has already spotted on an official listing on Flipkart. The Flipkart listing is a clear indication that the handset is coming to India soon.
The listing shows two videos, teasing the upcoming smartphone. The first video shows its attractive design and camera capabilities. You can see a quad-camera setup at the back of this phone. If the specs of the Indian version is the same as the global one, you will get a 48MP primary camera, a 5MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP lens for portrait shots. There is a fingerprint reader right beneath the camera cluster. On the front, the brand offers a single 16MP camera for picturing selfies video calls. There is also a 6.39-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution and a punch-hole cut-out for the aforementioned selfie camera.
The second video is about the phone’s battery life. The handset comes with a 4,000 mAh battery, which is pretty much the standard for a mid-range smartphone in 2020. Along with the power-efficient Snapdragon 662, the Nokia 5.4 is expected to deliver at least a full-day battery life. HMD Global offers the 5.4 in multiple variants with 4 / 6GB of RAM and 64 / 128GB of storage. However, we are not sure whether the brand will bring all variants to the Indian market.
To recall, the Nokia 5.4 price was announced to be €189 (around Rs. 16,500), which should be lowered for the Indian market.
Nokia 5.4: Specifications & Features
In terms of design, the device still has the same back design as the Nokia 5.3. You can see the same round camera cluster as its predecessor, but the "waterdrop" screen has now been replaced by a newer punch-hole display, with a small cut-out in the upper left corner housing the selfie camera. The back of the device is made of polycarbonate plastic, with a total weight of 180 grams.
The handset is equipped with a 6.39-inch IPS LCD display, which supports HD+ resolution (720 x 1560 pixels), and has an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9. The phone comes pre-installed with Android One version of Android 10, and has a dedicated button to activate the Google Assistant. In addition, it is also integrated with a fingerprint sensor on the back for biometrics security.
The rear camera cluster of Nokia 5.4 is housed inside a circular module, consisting of a 48MP main sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.
On the inside, the handset is powered by the Snapdragon 662 processor, paired with 4/6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. The device comes with a 4,000mAh capacity battery, that charges at 10W via a USB-C port. In addition, it also supports dual SIM, 4G VoLTE connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, and has a headphone jack at the bottom.
