For a starting price of around Rs. 7,000, the Nokia 1.4 comes with a large battery, large display, and is promised to get Android 11 update in the future.

Nokia 1.4 has just arrived as the latest Android Go smartphone and a direct successor to last year’s Nokia 1.3. The device features a water-drop notch display, a dual-camera setup inside a circular module, and a rear-mounted fingerprint reader. It also comes with a Snapdragon 215 chipset, 32/64GB of storage, Android 10, and a 6.51” display.

Nokia 1.4: Price & Availability
The device is priced at €99 (roughly Rs. 8,600) for the 1GB RAM + 16GB storage option. The device is up for grabs in Dusk, Charcoal, and Fjord color options. If the phone visits India, it should be offered at a lower price since we already see a significant difference in pricing between the European and Indian markets.

Nokia 1.4: Specifications & Features
As mentioned, the new budget Nokia phone sports a 6.5-inch display with HD+ resolution and a water-drop notch at the top for a single 5MP selfie camera. You can see a thick chin at the bottom, which houses the familiar Nokia logo.
This is the first time a smartphone on the Nokia 1 series comes with a dual rear camera setup, including an 8MP primary sensor and a 2MP macro camera. The rear camera cluster has a circular design, with a dual-LED flash in the center. The back also has a fingerprint sensor for biometrics security.
HMD Global is committed to providing users with a stock Android experience, and so is the Nokia 1.4. The smartphone comes pre-installed with Android 10 (Go), including Google's Camera Go app, which offers features like Portrait Mode and Night Sight night shots commonly found on high-end devices.

The processor inside is Snapdragon 215, which isn’t a powerful chipset but can still handle basic tasks pretty well. The base option has 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. However, you can also spend extra money on the 2GB / 32GB or 3GB / 64GB configurations.
Despite having entry-level specs, HMD Global still packs a 4,000 mAh battery inside this phone. Sadly, this smartphone gets a rather outdated micro-USB port. In addition, HMD Global also ensures this low-cost smartphone will receive an Android 11 update in the future and two years of security updates.
Nokia 1.4 price: around Rs. 7,200
