The Nokia 2.3 was spotted on a Spanish store website with its key specs revealed and it is expected to carry a better hardware configuration.

HMD Global might bring a new offering to its budget lineup soon to take on the likes of Realme 3i and Redmi 8A. The new phone should arrive under the name Nokia 2.3 and it has just spotted on a Spanish store website, one day after the company announced the launch of an unknown Nokia handset on 5 December. The Nokia 2.3 will likely be positioned in the budget segment and have a similar price tag to the Nokia 2.2. According to the listing, its price will be $93.990 (around Rs. 6,800). It will ship with Android OS and come in at least Green hue.

Nokia 2.3: Expected specifications

Other specs of the Nokia 2.3 are still quite vague for now. A recent report of NokiaPowerUser suggests that the device might pack 2GB RAM and 32GB of storage, which is a decent upgrade over 16GB storage on previous models. The storage should also be expandable with a microSD card. Moreover, the Nokia 2.3 is currently in the works with the model number ‘TA-1206’ and it was previously spotted with three color options: Cyan Green, Charcoal, and Sand. On the front, it is tipped to sport a 6.1-inch HD+ display with a water-drop notch at the top to accommodate a selfie shooter. Under the hood, it might come with a beefy 3,920 mAh battery.

We believe that the Nokia 2.3 should have a better camera setup, chipset, and other specs than its predecessor Nokia 2.2. The price of the latter in India is currently Rs. 5,999. The Nokia 2.2 is equipped with a 5.7-inch display with HD+ resolution, an Helio A22 chipset, a 13MP main sensor, a 5MP selfie camera, and a 3,000mAh battery under the hood.

HMD Global hasn’t revealed which phone they will bring to the launch event on 5 December. However, many already suggested that it would be the mid-range Nokia 8.2. Hopefully, the Nokia 2.3 will also launch on the same day.
