In the near future, Nokia will launch an affordable smartphone, Nokia 2.3. The product has a mission to help HMD Global gain a higher market share in the budget segment. So does this smartphone have any special advantages to attract users? Below I will summarize for you the newly-leaked information so far about the phone.
Nokia 2.3: Design
According to Nokiapoweruser, the Nokia 2.3 will be made from Polycarbonate, which is a material used on low-cost devices that both saves costs and brings a strong grip and durability for the devices.

At present, there are no renders of Nokia 2.3, though its dimensions are tipped to be 157.69 mm x 75.41 mm. For comparison, this size is much better than the dimensions of 146 mm x 70.6 mm on its predecessor, Nokia 2.2.

Other than that, it is likely that Nokia 2.3 will still own the design similar to the Nokia 2.2. On the front, it is sadi to use a water-drop notched display with thick bezels on the sides. There will still be a Nokia logo at the bottom chin.

The position of the buttons or ports remains the same. To be more specific, the right edge houses a power button and a volume rock. The left edge is packed with a Google Assistant virtual assistant activation key. On the bottom, there is a micro-USB port and a recording microphone. The top of the device still features a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The back of the Nokia 2.3 is still a single camera cluster with an LED flash placed vertically. The device will reportedly arrive in colors such as Charcoal, Cyan Green and Sand.

Nokia 2.3: Specifications
Compared to Nokia 2.2, Nokia 2.3 is tipped to flaunt a larger display with the same screen resolution of HD+.

Under the hood, the Nokia 2.3 will not arrive with upgrades in terms of performance as it will still use an Helio A22 processor and is available in memory versions of 2/3 GB and 16/32GB of storage. The handset will have a battery with 3,920 mAh in capacity, up from 3,000 mAh on the Nokia 2.2. Moreover, the device is claimed to support Bluetooth 5.0, while its predecessor only came with support for Bluetooth 4.2.
As for the camera, the Nokia 2.3 still has a 13MP main camera with an F/2.2 aperture and a 5MP selfie camera. With these cameras, you shouldn’t expect any massive improvement in the camera quality.

In addition, the device will be a part of the Android One program and come pre-installed with Android 9 Pie OS. Being an Android One smartphone will promise long-term, quick updates for the next 2-3 years.
