Motorola One 5G Release Date
The device was officially launched in September 2020. In the US, it is marketed as Motorola One 5G while in the UK and Europe, it goes by the name Moto G 5G Plus.

Motorola One 5G Price
The phone comes in only one variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage at a price of $444.49. On the other hand, the G 5G Plus comes with a variant with 64GB of storage. The price of the One 5G is significantly cheaper, compared to other 5G phones on the market. In India, the price of the device is expected to be about Rs 29,390.
Motorola One 5G Design
One thing for sure, the Motorola One 5G is one plus-sized phone. It is bigger than its siblings. While it comes with a larger screen, it isn’t too wide. The phone measures 168 x 74 x 9mm. Its weight is 207g, a bit heavier than normal handsets.

On the front, the screen takes up most of the space. The phone has a fairly minimal bezel. The cameras are housed in the dual punch-hole cutouts.
At the back of the phone, you will find the Motorola logo, a squarish camera bump, and a flash module. Although the back is made of plastic, it doesn’t feel cheap.

The Motorola One 5G has a fingerprint scanner on the side, which is a surprise as all Moto G phones have the fingerprint scanner located on the back. On the right of the phone is the volume rocker and the power button right above it. On the left is a dedicated button for Google Assistant. There are a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C port. The phone is available in only one color, a blue shade.
Motorola One 5G Display
The One 5G has a 21:9 screen. There is a common drawback with all phones with this screen is that they are a bit long and difficult to put inside your pocket.

The screen of the One 5G measures 6.7 inches diagonally, making it one of Motorola’s biggest smartphones. The resolution of the display is 1080 x 2520 (2K). The screen has an HDR10 rating, making it nice to look at. The refresh rate of the screen is 90Hz for smooth navigation. You can lower this down to 60Hx if you want to save battery life. This is Motorola’s first affordable phone to have a 90Hz display.
Motorola One 5G Specs & Performance
The smartphone has the Snapdragon 765G chipset which is normally found in some high mid-range handsets. So that is probably why the smartphone feels snappier than other phones from Motorola.

Apps load quickly while games play smoothly. The smartphone got a score of 1822 on a benchmark test. It is not a high score. But it is great for its price point. The score is higher than that of the Oppo Reno 2 at 1739 and is a bit lower than the Honor 9x Pro at 1858. As its name suggests, the phone is a 5G-powered phone. For software, it runs Android 10.
Motorola One 5G Camera
There are six cameras in total, two on the front and four on the back. However, quantity does not always mean quality. In terms of photography, the One 5G is okay but not exceptional by any means.

On the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.0 and an 8MP ultra-wide camera with an aperture of f/2.2 for group shots. The photos look quite good in well-lit conditions with plenty of detail. When you change to the main camera, you have generally good bokeh effects with the Portrait mode.
There is a dedicated beauty mode for the selfie camera. However, the photos look horrifying, to be honest.
On the back, you have a quad-camera setup with a 48MP main camera with an aperture of f/1.7, an 8MP ultrawide lens with an aperture of f/2.2, a 2MP macro lens with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP depth camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
The photos from the main camera look detailed. However, they are great, in terms of color and contrast. There is no optical zoom. But you get an 8x digital zoom. The Motorola One 5G can record 4K videos.
Motorola One 5G Battery Life
Motorola has equipped the One 5G with a powerful 5,000mAh battery. No matter what you do, surfing social media, streaming music, watching Netflix, or playing lots of games, the smartphone can last you the entire day. The phone has a charging speed of 20W. It takes one hour to go from 0% to 65%.
That is all the information that we have got regarding the Motorola One 5G price in India, release date, and specs. We hope that it can help you decide whether to spend your money on the device or not.
