Motorola Edge+ Specs Leaked Alongside Motorola One Mid & Moto G8 Power Lite

Motorola Edge+ will be positioned in the high-end segment with a Snapdragon 865 SoC while the Moto G8 Power Lite and Motorola One Mid will likely fall in the mid-range segment.

After nearly two years since the Moto Z3, Motorola is finally releasing a new flagship smartphone this year. The name of the phone has been suggested by previous leaks to be Motorola Edge+. Now, more details of the handset have been shared online alongside two other mid-range smartphones - Moto G8 Power Lite and Motorola One Mid.

Let’s start with the flagship Motorola Edge+ first.

Motorola Edge+

The leak is shared by Mishaal Rahman at XDA-Developers. On his Tweet, the upcoming Motorola Edge+ will pack a 6.67-inch display with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It will be the first smartphone from Motorola to feature a 90Hz display.

Mishaal further reveals that the handset will be fueled by a massive battery with more than 5,000 mAh capacity. In addition, the phone will get power from a Snapdragon 865 SoC along with up to 12GB of RAM. Previously, the handset was spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 865 Soc, 12GB RAM, and Android 10.

Finally, he also tipped that the handset will be distributed by Verizon in the US and it will also make its debut globally.

Moto G8 Power Lite

The next in line is the Moto G8 Power Lite. Its sibling Moto G Power launched earlier this month with a Snapdragon 665, punch-hole display, quad rear cameras, and a beefy 5,000 mAh battery. At the time, we heard that there would be a watered-down version of the phone incoming and will be called Moto G8 Power Lite.

According to Mishaal, the Snapdragon 665 SoC on the Moto G Power will be replaced by an Helio P35 SoC while the 5,000 mAh battery capacity remains the same. That is all we got about the Moto G8 Power Lite for now.

Motorola One Mid

Motorola One Mid appears to be an upcoming mid-range smartphone in the Motorola One series. The smartphone will flaunt a 6.53-inch FHD+ display, but Mishaal doesn’t reveal which design Motorola uses for its front panel. Up until now, the company has adopted three popular display designs in the market: pop-up camera, punch-hole display, and dew-drop notch. Therefore, we would not be surprised to see any of those on the Motorola One Mid.

Motorola Moto One Hyper

Powering the phone will be a Snapdragon 675 SoC, just like the Motorola One hyper launched at the end of last year. The battery capacity of the device is tipped to be 4,000 mAh, which is also the same as the One Hyper.
