Motorola is about to release at least three smartphones under the Moto G-series dubbed Moto G Stylus, Moto G8, and Moto G8 Power. Recent reports also suggested that the brand is developing on smartphones with the new Snapdragon 765G and Snapdragon 865. Now, a new report by XDA Developers includes live photos of the two new Motorola smartphone along with their features and specifications. The report also said that the two smartphones are called ‘Motorola One 2020’ in the marketing materials. It’s speculated that one of them could be the Motorola Edge+ that has recently been tipped to be Motorola’s upcoming flagship smartphone.

According to the report, the Snapdragon 865-driven flagship smartphone in the Motorola One 2020 lineup has codename ‘burton’ and is referred to as ‘race turbo’ internally. Meanwhile, the smartphone powered by Snapdragon 765 or Snapdragon 765G has codenames - ‘racer’ or ‘racer 5G’.
The Motorola ‘racer 5g’ is said to arrive under the name ‘Motorola One 5G 2020’ with 5G connectivity support while the Motorola ‘burton’ will only be dubbed Motorola One 2020. However, the handset will reportedly be positioned in the flagship segment, so it should support the 5G network even though it doesn’t have a 5G tag in its name. The device is said to be up for sale exclusively via Verizon in the US, possibly under the name Motorola Edge+. Both models will be equipped with similar specifications, one of which is the 6.67-inch curved panel with a refresh rate of 90Hz.
Motorola One 5G 2020: Specifications

The Motorola One 5G 2020 could be driven by a Snapdragon 765 or Snapdragon 765G chipset, paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. We don’t know how many sensors it will have at the back, but the main sensor should have 48MP resolution. Fueling the device might be a large 5,660 mAh battery. Other notable features include dual SIM slots, Android 10, and NFC support.
Motorola One 2020 - Motorola Edge+: Specifications
We have reported that the Motorola Edge+ will be Motorola’s next flagship. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 865 SoC, aided by 8GB/12GB of RAM. Giving power to the phone is a 5,170 mAh battery. It will reportedly come with Motorola-made features like Moto Gametime toolbar for a better gaming experience, auto-tuning app Moto Audio, and customizable tap actions on the curved edges of the screen. In addition, both phones will carry a punch-hole display, but the cut-out seems to be smaller than that of other Motorola smartphones.
Motorola will arrive at MWC 2020 to announce new smartphones. The Motorola One 2020 series could be on the list.
