Over the last few years, Motorola has mostly released smartphones in the low-end and mid-range segment. However, the brand has made a comeback to the high-end segment with the Motorola Edge Plus. After being announced at the end of last year, the phone finally arrives in India with a hefty price tag of Rs. 74,999. It is the first real flagship smartphone since the release of the Moto Z2 Force in the country way back in February 2018.
Motorola Edge+: Price & Availability
The Motorola Edge+ price starts at Rs. 74,999 in India for the model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. You can get the phone in either Thunder Grey or Smoky Sangria colorways. The brand is currently offering a special cashback (Rs. 7,500) to buyers using ICICI credit card on both non-EMI and EMI payments on Flipkart. Pre-orders are now available while the first sale will be up on 26 May.
Motorola Edge+: Specifications & Features
The device comes with a highly-curved display, which is claimed to be curved at 90° on the sides. The display size is 6.7-inch and the brand uses an OLED panel that supports 90Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and DCL-P3 colour gamut. There are also a single punch-hole at the top left corner for accommodating a selfie camera and an under-display fingerprint reader for security. In terms of specs, the device is driven by a Snapdragon 865 SoC, paired with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.0 storage. For now, the company only offers a single memory configuration of this phone.

For photography, the Motorola Edge Plus is equipped with a triple camera cluster, including a whopping 108MP Samsung HMX sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture that doubles up as macro camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera with OIS and 3x optical zoom. On the front, it gets a 25MP camera for taking selfies.

Under the hood, the brand packs a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging tech and 15W wireless charging. Finally, it is preloaded with Android 10 to take care of the software of things and it promised to get updates to Android 12 in the future.
