With 2020 wrapping up, the release date of the Samsung Galaxy S21 is maybe the next big event for the smartphone industry. Usually, each year, Samsung’s big flagship is the first huge phone. The Galaxy S21, the successor to the S20, one of the best smartphones in the world, is expected to be a premium phone that can be compared with other flagships of the year. For Galaxy S21 price, at least, it will be as expensive as Samsung’s Galaxy S20 range. So the basic model will probably start at $999. And the S21 Plus and S21 Ultra will cost even more. Galaxy S21 Release Date

It has been a tradition for Samsung to unveil its Galaxy S phones early in the year. In recent years, it has been revealing them in February. And customers can start purchasing from March. So, the same is expected with the Galaxy S21 range.

But it is very likely that Samsung will announce the S21 range in January. An official Samsung store in India says that the phones will be unveiled on January 14.

So January is 90% going to be the Samsung Galaxy S21 release date. The store also adds that on January 29, the phones would be available in the country. It also suggested that other countries would get the phones a week earlier, on January 22.

It is also not the first time we have heard of these dates. Previously, a leaker also said that Samsung would announce the Galaxy S21 range on January 14. Pre-orders would be opened the same day. And the phones would be available on January 29.

There are several other rumors also suggesting the release date of the Galaxy S21 will be in early 2021.

The phone has already passed through the certification process of the Bureau of Indian Standards a month earlier, compared to normal. This confirms the release date rumor even further.

Galaxy S21 Price

The smartphone will be as expensive as its predecessor, the Galaxy S20, range. The basic model will have a starting price of $999 while the S21 Plus and S21 Ultra will cost even more. One source says that the price of the range will be roughly the same as that of the S20 range. However, Korean Insider has said that the S21 range may have cheaper prices than the S20 line. The price of the Galaxy S21 will fall somewhere between $849 and $899.

Galaxy S21 Design & Display

There are so many rumors regarding the design of the Galaxy S21. There was a full hands-on video of the Galaxy S21 Plus available on YouTube but has been set to private.

As you would expect, the phone is super fast and responsive. In the clip, the S Pen stylus is nowhere to be found as stylus support is the Ultra model’s exclusive feature.

One of the biggest leaks is from Android Police, which shares the teaser clips from Samsung showing the S21 Plus and S21 Ultra.

The clip gives us a clear look at the camera. The phone in the clip has a two-tone color design, a purple body, and a gold camera.

It also shows that the Galaxy 21 and S21 Plus are going to have a flat screen, matching a previous rumor stated by IceUniverse.

This is not the clearest look of the handset. But luckily, Android Police has shared some specs regarding the three phones. The S21 will have a 6.2-inch display, a 6.7-inch screen for the S21 Plus, and the Galaxy S21 Ultra will come with a 6.8-inch display.

A video clip shows that the Galaxy S21 Ultra will have a curved display, a different color scheme, and more cameras on the back.

Meanwhile, according to the renders from @OnLeaks, the Galaxy S21 will have a similar front design to the Galaxy S20. However, it will have a revamped camera setup on the rear with a wraparound effect.

The renders also show that the phone might come with an in-screen camera. But it seems like Samsung is still looking at the feasibility of this so the technology might not be ready yet.

According to Android Police, on the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Plus, we will have a rear camera setup of 64MP, 12MP, and 12MP. And the S21 Ultra will have a combination of 108MP, 12MP, 10MP, and 10MP.

In terms of battery, a source says that the S21 Ultra will have a 5,000mAh battery. This means that other models will come with smaller batteries.

Galaxy S21 Specs

There are rumors that the US version of the Galaxy S1 Plus will be powered by a Snapdragon 888 chipset with 8GB RAM while the UK version will have an Exynos 2100 chipset, also with 8GB RAM.
