Asus ZenFone Live (L2) Silently Launched With Gradient Finish & 3,000mAh Battery

Asus just quietly announced the Asus ZenFone Live L2 with a gradient finish, 2GB RAM, two processor options, and a 3,000mAh cell.

The Taiwanese phone maker Asus has just silently launched the Asus ZenFone Live L2. The new phone is a direct successor to the last year’s ZenFone Live L1, and it is now listed on the company’s global website. The phone comes with a conventional design with thick bezels at the top and bottom. It also ships with the dated Android 8.0 Oreo with the company’s ZenUI 5 on top. For now, the availability and pricing of this new handset remain unknown.

As per the listing on Asus’ official website, the phone will be offered in two color variants which are Cosmic Blue and Rocket Red. Both of the color variants will have a gradient finish on the back.
ZenFone Live L2: Specs & Features
The phone sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD panel with a HD (1,440 x 720p) resolution, an aspect ratio of 18:9, and 82.3% screen-to-body ratio. Powering the phone will be either a quad-core Snapdragon 425 or Snapdragon 430 SoC, varied on different markets. The processor will be paired with an Adreno 308 or Adreno 505, respectively. In addition, it is offered in two memory configurations, including 2GB RAM/16GB storage and 2GB RAM/32GB storage which is expandable via a microSD slot (2TB maximum).

In terms of camera, it will come with only one 13MP or 8MP main shooter with an aperture of f/2.0. Up front, there will be a 5MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.4. As for software, it will run the dated Android 8.0 Oreo with the company’s ZenUI 5.0 on top.
Other notable features include Bluetooth 4, 4G LTE, GPS, a micro-USB port 2.0, Wi-Fi and a headphone jack. Powering the phone is a 3,000mAh cell with no fast charging support. Lastly, the phone measures 147.26 x 71.77 x 8.15 mm and weighs 140g.
As mentioned, Asus hasn't revealed when the phone will be up for sale in other markets beside the US and Canada.
