Premiere Rush CC is a video-editing app for mobiles that Adobe has already released for a long time. Recently, the company has updated it with new professional speed controls, which makes it become more and more helpful for creators like YouTubers in the process of making videos. Users are able to make simple changes in terms of speed like they do in Adobe Premiere Pro CC – the most popular app in the same category, by either entering a certain speed percentage or shrinking/stretching clips. Moreover, they are also able to make speed ranges in one section of their clip. For example, the section will start with fast motion then finish with super slow motion.
In case users want to have more granular control, this new app is the No.1 video editing app on mobile devices to have speed ramping, although Muvee might have this feature too, according to Adobe. Also, the feature will allow users to change a clip’s speed progressively from slow to fast or vice-versa (Matrix-style) without any difficulties.
There are also other features included in the Adobe Premiere Rush CC like audio pitch control and duration adjustments. The former allows users to maintain a speaker’s original pitch even when they slow them down or up. Thanks to pitch control, there won’t any sound like James Earl Jones on Quaaludes or Mickey Mouse.
At the very beginning of its release, Adobe only launched Premiere Rush CC on iPhone. However, it is now available on not only iOS but also Android and desktop. Nevertheless, it seems that the app is more stable on Apple’s devices, as judged by comments on Google Play Store, therefore, Adobe is expected to improve that.
Finally, the price for Premiere Rush CC is not cheap. Users can test the app for free but only 3 projects can be exported. After the free trial, users will have to buy an Adobe Creative Cloud plan which starts at the price of $10 per month.
