Android Authority conducted a simple survey asking a simple question: which one is better, the Google Pixel 3 or the OnePlus 6T?

OnePlus 6T vs Google Pixel 3

It is pretty interesting to compare those two phones as they have different approaches to be the best Android phone.

They have common things like no headphone jack, all-glass design, Android Pie, and Snapdragon 845.

Besides a few similarities, they are quite different smartphones. It is the battle between the OnePlus 6T’s value and impressive refinement versus the camera of the Pixel and tight Google integration.

The OnePlus 6T has an on-screen fingerprint scanner and also a smaller notch. The phone also uses an OnePlus-customized OS called Oxygen OS which is favored over the stock Android. It also comes with double the RAM in the Google Pixel. But it does not offer wireless charging technology which the Google has.

However, the camera of the 6T is not really that impressive. It is surely good but it is not as impressive as the Google Pixel 3. And the camera software of Google is likely to advance further than OnePlus in the upcoming future.

It is a big win for the OnePlus 6T. There is a huge gap between the vote for Google Pixel 3 and OnePlus 6T. But the gap gets narrow when they gave users more options. They added a ‘neither’ option and there were a few users who vote for it, often from people who would want the headphone jack to be back. The Samsung Galaxy devices, as well as the Huawei Mate 20, were also mentioned a lot in the comments.

But how did 6T manage to beat the famous Google Pixel? Many people all agreed that it is because OnePlus keeps on giving many best values in its flagships. Its phones’ quality are also getting better even if their decisions are not always on the right track.

Meanwhile, the Google Pixel doesn’t come with a reasonable price and also has a deeply polarizing notch for the XL-size model. However, it still won votes for its camera and also daily driver aspects, specifically the regular non-XL model.
