The display of the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha is quite impressive when it has a screen-to-body ratio of up to 180.6 percent. Not only that, the phone’s 108-megapixel rear camera is actually special. Just now, Xiaomi has shared various camera samples. While these images are downscaled, the crops highlight the impressive quality of each photo.

The handset comes with a 12-megapixel camera with the support for 2x optical zoom. Although by the look of it, digital zoom from the 1/1.33” primary sensor will also work well. Especially when zooming at night, the f/1.7 aperture could help the sensor to get as much light as possible. In addition, the pixel binning is expected to enhance imaging quality more, which produces 27-megapixel shots.

Interestingly, users will also be able to take selfies with the 108-megapixel primary camera or the 20-megapixel 117-degree ultra-wide sensor.
And certainly, with the impressive camera and hardware specs, the phone will have extremely high pricing, just like the current foldable smartphones.
To recall, the Mi Mix Alpha is powered by a Snapdragon 855+ chipset under the hood, coupled with 12GB RAM + 512 internal storage. Apart from the 108-megapixel sensor, the camera setup on the back also includes a 20-megapixel wide sensor and a 12-megapixel telephoto sensor. Powering the Mi Mix Alpha is a 4,050 mAh battery with the support for the 40W wired fast charging tech. In terms of software, the phone will run MIUI 11 based on Android operating system. Though it is just a concept phone, it will indeed be available for sale in the recent future. However, Xiaomi will only provide a small amount of the phone . It is said that the phone will cost CNY20,000 (roughly Rs. 199,426).
