The Chinese phone maker Xiaomi just released the much anticipated Redmi Note 7 in the Chinese market, and they already set the goal to sell more than a million device until the end of this month. And while the phone has just been launched for a short amount of time, there are already quite a few details regarding the Redmi Note 7 Pro specs.

Redmi Note 7 with a 48MP camera
As claimed on a post on Weibo, the Note 7 Pro could be unveiled after the Chinese Spring festival, packing a Snapdragon 675 SoC. So let’s see the leaked specifications about the upcoming Redmi Note 7 Pro.
Redmi Note 7 Pro: Specs
The post on Weibo revealed that the Xiaomi handset would be powered by a Snapdragon 675 processor. Earlier, it was also confirmed to come with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX 586 instead of the Samsung GM1 sensor on the Redmi Note 7. Moreover, the Pro model might be the first smartphone to come with the Snapdragon 675 SoC. However, it is not the only phone to be rumored to pack a Snapdragon 675 SoC as Lenovo-owned Motorola also plans to release the Motorola P40 with such processor. But the Redmi Note 7 will likely to be released earlier than the Motorola P40.

The Snapdragon 675 processor is packed with the latest AI-backed performance, gaming capabilities, camera features, and more. The chipset also has support for the latest Kryo 460 CPU that can boost the performance while still maintaining efficiency and speed. The Snapdragon 675 SoC is coupled with an Adreno 612 GPU that ensures lag-free graphics with ‘heterogeneous computing.’ It also has support for recording in slow-motion HD video @480fps.
Redmi Note 7 Pro: Expected price
The Redmi Note 7 Pro is speculated to release at a price of RMB 1,499 (around Rs. 15,800) which is surprisingly lower than the price tag of the Redmi Note 7 in the Chinese market. However, we believe that the handset should be priced a little higher than its rumored price. The handset will most likely have better specifications in the imaging and SoC department, which is reasonable to raise its price tag compared to that of the Redmi Note 7. Besides, Xiaomi usually charges the Redmi Pro phones higher than the non-Pro ones.
Xiaomi hasn’t revealed the availability of the Redmi Note 7 in the Indian market so it should be quite a while before we can see the Redmi Note 7 Pro in the country. With impressive hardware specs, the phone should make quite a buzz in the global market when it’s unveiled. It is interesting to see when the Chinese phone maker decides to officially introduce the Note 7 Pro in the Chinese market as then we can know the pricing of the handset.
