Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro was a very popular smartphone in 2018, with good hardware configuration for its price tag and the design was quite new at the time. Recently, the phone was recorded to explode while being repaired by a technician in an unauthorized local service store. It is fortunate that no one was harmed by the incident.

According to information provided by Khabar Gujarat newspaper, a technician at the Dhriti Mobiles store in India was trying to open the device’s back panel to repair it, when a lot of smoke was coming out of the back of the phone. In a split second, the Redmi Note 6 Pro burst into flames and was thrown to the ground by the technician because it was too hot. Thankfully no one was injured in this incident.
