Pocophone, Xiaomi’s sub-brand, has got a lot of attention in the Indian smartphone market in 2018 with the Pocophone F1. Due to the attractive price for an impressive set of specifications, more than 700,000 devices were sold in a bit over 3 months. Now, a fresh listing on the benchmarking site Geekbench suggests the Chinese company may plan to launch a Lite model of the Poco F1 pretty soon.

Poco F1 Lite: What we know so far
The handset was spotted on a Geekbench listing, revealing that Poco might release a more affordable of its much-liked Poco F1 to further consolidate its stand in the budget phone segment. As per the Geekbench listing, the Lite model packs a Snapdragon 660 SoC built on the 14nm process, paired with 4GB RAM. The handset achieved scores of 1,341 and 4,803 points in single core in the multi-core tests, respectively. In terms of software, it is listed running the latest Android 9 Pie.

Interestingly, another Xiaomi was also listed on Geekbench under the codename “Uranus” today with the same set of specifications. The phone achieved scores of 1,329 as well as 4,821 points in the single-core and multi-core tests. We highly believe that this should be the Poco F1 Lite that we are talking about. However, there is still a possibility that they are two different handsets.
As this is the only piece of information we have known about the this Lite model, so we think you should take this news with a grain of salt. Alongside the Poco F1 Lite, we have also seen some details of the Poco F2 as well, which should be the successor to the much-favorited Poco F1, surfaced online. If the Poco F1 Lite is a real thing, there should be more information coming out soon as the Poco F1 was launched for quite a while already. It should be time for Poco to announce some more phones to its mobile portfolio.
