Xiaomi Plans To Launch New Redmi Phone With 32MP Selfie Camera Soon

Xiaomi phone maker is said to add another handset in its Redmi series with a 32MP selfie camera soon.

Xiaomi introduced the Redmi Note 7 as the first handset in the Redmi series. Then the company brought this smartphone and the Redmi Note 7 Pro in the Chinese market. Now, a new report reveals that Xiaomi probably plans to unveil a new device in the Redmi series with a 32MP selfie camera. Additionally, according to Gizmochina reports, President of Redmi brand asked the company’s fans on Weibo if Xiaomi should introduce a Redmi smartphone with a 32MP selfie camera.

The source stated that the company could also introduce Redmi Y3. The report said that most of the Redmi fans responded Yes to the question. In addition, there have already been a lot of phones featuring 32MP selfie camera in today market, which comprises of Vivo V15 Pro, Huawei P30, P30 Pro, and P30 Lite. All these smartphones offer GD1 sensor of Samsung, which feature real-time HDR.
Additionally, the Honor 20 series comprising of Honor 20 Pro, Honor 20, and affordable Honor 20i is also rumoured to have a 32Mp selfie camera. The new Honor smartphones are set to launch on 17 April. Moreover, according to the report, the Redmi 7 is expected to be available in India soon. The report stated:


The Redmi Y3 is probably a selfie-focused handset which is aimed at young people. It is known that the handset is the successor to the Redmi Y2, which features a 16MP selfie camera with AI support. The same handset was unveiled in China under the Redmi S2 name in 2018. It is likely that the upcoming Redmi Y3 will make the debut soon with a 32MP selfie camera because it has got a Wifi certification. Separately, according to the report, the Redmi 7A, the next-generation model of the Redmi 6A, has been on development.
