According to a believable and independent source, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 likely slide twice more than the company announcement of 300,000 times.

On the Weibo site, Digital Tail shows a 39-second clip to indicate that Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 might live about 600,000 times of mechanical slider, much more than the official number that Xiaomi announced earlier. This clip shows an interesting fact that the slider even better after the producer's initial test.

So the true fan of Xiaomi can use and keep Mi Mix 3 for even 7 to 8 years later if they don't want to change to the other one. Actually, with 300,000 slides, they are more than enough for usual phone users. If users slide their phone 100 times a day, users will use this device for 8 years without any problem. Generally, nobody slides the screen up to 100 times a day and all most the phones do not need to be used continuously up to 7 or 8 years.
