The Redmi Note 7 is expected to officially launch in the Indian market in the upcoming week on 28 February. And now a new post from Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has confirmed that it is going to introduce the Redmi Note 7 Pro in the Chinese market in the same week. The phone has already been teased on the social media in the last couple of weeks, and it was said to launch after the Xiaomi Mi 9. The upgrade version of the Redmi Note 7 has also spotted receiving 3C certification which reveals some details regarding the phone’s charging capability along with some previous leaks suggesting the specifications of the phone.
Redmi Note 7 Pro: Specifications & Release date
Along with the upgrade in camera, the phone is also expected to pack a Snapdragon 675 chipset which is also an upgrade over the Snapdragon 660 SoC on the Redmi Note 7. Additionally, there are also very few phones packing Snapdragon 675 at the moment. In the Indian market at the moment, the Vivo V15 Pro comes with the same chipset, and the phone is a great addition to the mid-range smartphone segment, according to our initial impressions. In the battery department, it is rumored that the device might come with 18W fast charging which will be a decent feature to have.
Besides that, the Pro model will also be offered in several high-end storage and RAM variants. Some reports suggest that it could be a 6GB of RAM/128GB of storage model which is pretty realistic. The only thing we know about the Redmi Note 7 Pro launch so far is the fact that it will come out in the next week. Hopefully, we can see both of the Pro and non-Pro models in India next week.
