Xiaomi Black Shark Gaming-Centric Series To Launch In India Soon

Xiaomi has just confirmed that it will bring the gaming-centric Black Shark series in the Indian market.

Xiaomi just announced that it will launch a gaming-centric series named Black Shark in the Indian market. So far, this series has had two devices including the Black Shark Helo (available in the Chinese market) and the Black Shark, both of which are specially designed for gamers. Xiaomi has not disclosed the actual launch date of this series in the Indian market yet. However, the company confirmed that it is currently working with its partners and will announce the official launch date later.
Also, Xiaomi hasn't confirmed which phone they will bring to the Indian market and the exact release date of the handset. However, according to its press release sent to the media, Xiaomi is likely to launch the Black Shark Helo smartphone. “A Big “Hello” to you from Black Shark and it’s India Team!,” mentioned the release.
To recollect, the Xiaomi gaming smartphone was first launched in last October as an upgrade mode of the original Black Shark gaming phone. As for the specifications, the Black Shark sports a 6.01-inch FHD+ (1,080x2,160 pixels) AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 as well as 430 nits of brightness. Regarding the hardware, the phone is powered by the Qualcomm’s 10nm octa-core Snapdragon 845 SoC with an Adreno 630 GPU and a dual heat pipe liquid-cooling system in order to keep the device cool while playing rich-graphical games. The chipset is packed with up to 10GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
As for the photography capacity, the handset includes a dual rear camera setup with a 12MP sensor and a 20MP sensor with f/1.75 aperture. On the front, the device is equipped with a 24MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1-micron pixels, and a 5-piece lens. Powering the handset is a large battery with a capacity of 4,000mAh paired with the fast charging technology. Additionally, the phone runs on the Android 9 Pie-based MIUI 10.
Other features include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and an “S” logo with hidden LED lights.
So far, there are no further information about this smartphone besides its CNY 3,199 price tag (about Rs 34,000) in the Chinese market.
