RedMagic has officially launched its new 11S Pro series in China. The lineup stands out with a specially selected and overclocked version of Qualcomm's latest flagship processor.
The star feature is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version. This binned chip runs its prime cores at 4.74 GHz. That is a step above the standard 4.6 GHz clock speed and matches the performance-focused variant used in Samsung's Galaxy S26 series. RedMagic pairs the faster silicon with its own active cooling system to maintain stability during long gaming sessions.

Advanced Cooling Takes Center Stage
Higher clock speeds generate more heat, so RedMagic upgraded the thermal design. The phones use the new Wind Chaser 4.0 active cooling solution. It features a fan that spins up to 24,000 RPM, liquid metal thermal grease, a large vapor chamber, and a redesigned air duct system. The entire cooling setup carries an IPX8 water resistance rating.
This combination lets the devices sustain peak performance longer than standard flagships without thermal throttling. The design also keeps the phones relatively slim despite the powerful internals and large batteries.
Display, Battery, and Storage Options
Both models in the series share a flat 6.85-inch AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate. This panel delivers smooth visuals for fast-paced games.
Battery sizes differ slightly between variants:
- The standard 11S Pro comes with an 8,000 mAh cell.
- The 11S Pro+ uses a 7,500 mAh battery.
Charging speeds reach up to 120 W wired. Memory and storage configurations scale up to 16 GB of LPDDR5T RAM and 1 TB of UFS storage in the higher model.
The phones also include RedMagic's signature gaming features such as high-response shoulder triggers and a dedicated RedCore gaming chip that assists with graphics upscaling and frame generation in supported titles.

Pricing and Availability
RedMagic priced the new series competitively in China. The 11S Pro starts at 5,499 CNY (roughly $807). The 11S Pro+ begins at 6,199 CNY (about $910). Global availability details are expected in the coming weeks.

Why This Matters for Gamers
By offering a factory-overclocked and rigorously tested chipset alongside class-leading active cooling, RedMagic gives enthusiasts hardware that goes beyond typical flagship limits. The 11S Pro series targets players who want maximum frame rates, sustained performance, and future-proof specs without compromise.
The launch reinforces RedMagic's position as a specialist brand focused purely on mobile gaming performance. Early feedback from the Chinese market highlights strong interest in the extra headroom provided by the Leading Version processor.
RedMagic continues to iterate quickly on its formula of powerful silicon, visible cooling innovations, and gamer-centric ergonomics. The 11S Pro series represents the latest step in that direction.
