Xiaomi is said to be developing the Black Shark 4 - its next generation of gaming smartphones. The handset was recently found in the Google Play Console database with model numbers KSR-A0 and PRS-A0.
The PRS-A0 variant of the Black Shark 4 has now been approved by China's TENAA certification authority. While the certification document does not mention anything about its specifications, it does come with a few rendered images - suggesting that the Black Shark 4 could be an affordable gaming smartphone.

Instead of having a back with the familiar design like the previous generation, this mysterious Black Shark gaming smartphone has an extremely simple back design, with vertically-placed triple rear cameras and a tiny LED flash at the top, a Black Shark logo in the middle.
On the right side, the device has two dedicated buttons for gaming while the power button is integrated with a fingerprint sensor. Meanwhile, the left edge is where the volume rocker is located. With the side-mounted fingerprint reader, we believe that it should ship with an LCD panel, not AMOLED. If you did not know, both Black Shark 2 and Black Shark 3 have AMOLED screens and in-display fingerprint sensors.

Black Shark PSR-A0 is equipped with a flat display and a punch-hole to accommodate the selfie camera located in the center. With the side-mounted fingerprint reader and plain back design, we might be looking at one of the most affordable Black Shark smartphones.
In terms of specifications, the information mentioned on Google Play Console reveals that the Black Shark PSR-A0 will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865 processor and come with 12GB RAM, Android 11, and a Full-HD+ display.
