The much-anticipated Xiaomi Mi 11 has finally launched for the global markets. The device comes with some changes to the specifications in comparison to the Chinese version. The brand also hinted at a couple of new colour options in the near future.

The biggest changes are the lack of the top-end 12GB + 256GB option and the included 55W GaN charger. The latter means that users won’t have to choose to get the charger as it will be included for all purchases. Apart from those two changes, you will still get a Xiaomi Mi 11 with a Snapdragon 888 SoC and a 6.81” AMOLED display with Quad-HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Without the 12GB + 256GB variant, you are left with the 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB options.
Xiaomi Mi 11: Price & Availability
The base 8GB + 128GB option is priced at €749 (around Rs. 65,900) while the 8GB + 256GB option will set you back €799 (around Rs. 70,300). You can start pre-ordering the phone from February 26 while the first sale will start sometime in March.
Xiaomi Mi 11: Specifications & Features
In terms of design, except for the rear camera cluster, the Xiaomi Mi 11 does not seem to have too many differences compared to its predecessor. The device is still equipped with an edge-to-edge curved display, a metal frame, and a curved glass back.

The phone features a 6.81-inch curved AMOLED screen with 2K resolution, 515 ppi pixel density, 480Hz touch sampling rate, and 120Hz refresh rate. The display supports HDR10 +, MEMC motion compensation technology, DCI-P3 color gamut, a maximum brightness of 1500 nits, and 10-bit color. In addition, it is also equipped with Gorilla Glass Victus of Corning with extremely impressive bearing capacity.
Inside, Mi 11 carries the hardware power of Qualcomm's most advanced Snapdragon 888 processor, combined with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal memory. The phone scored 745,942 points on AnTuTu, as well as 1135 single-core and 3818 multi-core points in Geekbench's test.
Moving to the back, Mi 11 owns a 3-camera system in a rectangular module, including a 108MP f / 1.85 main sensor with a 7P lens, 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and 5MP macro camera. In addition, the handset also has a 20MP f / 2.4 camera placed in the punch-hole cut-out on the front for selfies and video calls.

Under the hood, the device comes with a 4,600 mAh battery, supports 55W wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. The device also supports Wi-Fi 6, NFC, infrared sensor, dual speakers Harman Kardon, and pre-installed with Android 11-based MIUI 12.5. Interestingly, the Mi 11 arrives with an in-display fingerprint reader that doubles as a heart rate monitor.
Xiaomi Mi 11 price: around Rs. 65,900 (Europe) or around Rs. 45,200 (China)
