Vivo V19 India Launch Delayed Indefinitely Due To India Lockdown

Vivo V19 India launch is officially announced to be delayed indefinitely due to the India lockdown, which will last for at least three weeks.

Vivo V19 was expected to be released in India today, but the launch has been postponed because of the India lockdown. The brand has released an official statement, confirming that it will not launch any new product. Previously, the Vivo V19 India launch was set to take place on 26th March and was later moved to 3rd April. Now, it is indefinitely delayed until further notice. In case you don’t know, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has just ordered an India lockdown for 1.3 billion people in the country, warning that it might leave a massive consequence if the company couldn’t deal with the coronavirus pandemic in the next three weeks.
Vivo also said that it is going to focus its effort and time to help the government deal with the Covid-19 outbreak. It is currently buying and donating N95 and surgical masks for healthcare works and doctors fighting the virus. Xiaomi also announces a similar plan of donating lakhs of marks to hospitals and government across the country.
Vivo V19: Specifications & Features
According to all the leaks, the upcoming Vivo V19 India model will be slightly modified compared to the model launched earlier this month. Instead of a single punch-hole, the Vivo V19 India version will have a dual selfie camera setup housed on a pill-shaped cut-out at the top of the display. In addition, it will be driven by a Snapdragon 712 octa-core chipset at the helm instead of a Snapdragon 675 SoC.

The Vivo V19 will sport a 6.44-inch dual iView E3 Super AMOLED panel of Full-HD+ resolution, 409ppi, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The handset will be available in multiple configurations with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It will have a 4,500 mAh battery under the hood and support charging with 33W Vivo FlashCharge 2.0 technology over a USB Type-C port. For photography, the device will feature dual selfie cameras on the front and quad cameras at the back. The front camera setup includes a 32MP primary camera and an 8MP wide-angle shooter while the rear camera cluster comprises a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP portrait shooter, and a 2MP dedicated macro snapper.
